John Smithbaker grew up with a "hate-filled" hole in his heart toward his dad, who left him before he was born. It wasn't until he accepted Christ as an adult that he forgave his father. Today, Smithbaker is using his experience to create a mentoring program for fatherless boys by pairing them with Christian men who develop relationships with the boys through outdoor activities. Fathers in the Field is having an amazing impact on the boys, men and churches involved. We talked with Smithbaker about his ministry.
